What have I learned thus far?

Sorry this post took me oh so long guys, I had a lot of bases to cover when I came back from my After Dark in Charlotte, and WOW - I have learned sooo much and my creative juices have been flowing ever since!

One of my favorite shots I got of a baby session I did the friday after I got back with Angel, and her son Ryder! It's the litte moments like sneezes, giggles, drool, and a smile that make baby photos come alive. Don't be afraid to be patient, and always be ready for the unexpected!

I also learned I am in LOVE with fields, warm tones, and VINTAGE :) Thanks Morgan! I very much have a signature of an off center subject, by far an eye catcher. Be different! Catch things you wouldn't think about to begin with

I will always remember, capturing even the smallest textures can make sure a huge different, like hats, glasses, or the flowers your holding. Thanks Casey :)

 My favorite thing I learned? Don't be afraid to play in the dark, especially at one a.m. next to a creep shed ;)

Sara has been a huge friend in my life for over a decade! We've known each other since we were kids in elementary school!

Of course, I wanted to take the time out to take some beautiful photos of her. It's really hard to mess up photos of someone who is already gorgeous though ;)

Adventures in lightroom!

So after going over a few tutorials for my new lightroom editing software, I decided to take a few older photos of my best friend and edit them!

Ahh, there is nothing better than a rainy day to sit inside and edit photographs. I love days like these to just sit back, relax, and find the beauty in photos.
